Apple to Replacing AirPods Pro for Free After They Discover a Design Flaw

We all know, AirPods Pro came with a bang and a lot of buzzes. But sometimes the most expensive and high price product does not guarantee you an issue free product.   

There has been a lot of hype around AirPods Pro which has proven incredibly popular too. However, some of its units are suffering from audio issues such as malfunctioning active noise cancellation (ANC) and static and crackling sounds.   

After, Apple recognized this issue they have vows to replace any affected units for a charge. This means if you own a pair of AirPods Pro and it is producing crackling or static sounds, then the company will replace them for free.

This even included units where active noise cancellation is not working as expected. According to some sources, a design flaw might be the reason behind some of these issues.  

In a statement, Apple stated that affected units of AirPods Pro will be exhibited at least one of the following behaviors:  

• Crackling or static sounds that increase in loud environments  
• Active Noise Cancellation not working as expected  
• Increase in background sounds such as street or airplane noise  

However, an important thing to note is that the company has only included the AirPods Pro in this program. Besides, the company also claims that the affected units were manufactured before October 2020.   

The company will be replacing only the earbuds and not the charging case.
