Canon Medical’s AI-Based Image Reconstruction Technology Available for MR Procedures
Canon Medical offers a full range of diagnostic medical imaging solutions and a suite of Healthcare IT solutions. The company is bringing the accessible artificial intelligence for improved image quality with expanded clinical indications for 1.5T MR.
From now on, advanced intelligent Clear-IQ Engine (AiCE) Deep Learning Reconstruction (DLR) can be used for 96% of procedures. They will use the Vantage Orian 1.5T MR system and expand from previously brain and knee indications to clinical indications. It will range from the prostate to shoulders and include all cardiac, joints, abdomen, pelvis, and spine.
The company trained the AICE by using massive amounts of high-quality image data. It also featured a DL neural network to reduce noise and boost the signal. The software can deliver sharp, clear, and distinct images faster. This allows clinicians to boost image quality along with performance and productivity on a new scale.

Canon Medical’s AiCE Challenge has also expanded with the expansion of indications. This particular step will see if you can tell the difference between 1.5T AiCE and traditional 3T image quality.
