Otter.ai recently expanded its Chrome Extension. With their new extension, they aim to make add meeting notes directly to Google Calendar invites easier.

You can just click on the “Add Otter Meeting Notes” button and voila!

Otter will offer Basic, Pro, and Business plan and with each plan, users will be able to easily send Otter meeting note links.

They can send these notes ahead of time which will allow the meeting host and participants to easily collaborate throughout the duration of the meeting.

With the new chrome extension, users will feel no need to scramble to share the Otter link once the meeting begins. From now on, all the participants will be able to access the Otter meeting notes without hassle within the calendar invite.

You can do this by pressing the record once the meeting starts (users with a business plan can skip this step by enabling auto-join). This new feature is an enhancement to the earlier Chrome Extension which was originally launched in January 2021.

The extension allows users to add Otter meeting notes to any Google Calendar invite. The extension will work with the major video meeting platforms like Zoom, Teams, Meet, and Cisco Webex.

The launch of Otter.ai’s latest chrome extension will highlight the continued efforts of the company to make Otter easier while conducting meetings.

Regardless of the video conferencing platform, the Otter meeting notes are searchable, stored, and accessible in one central place in the cloud through Otter’s web, iOS, and Android apps.

As Otter becomes an essential tool for an increasing number of professionals,” says Sam Liang, co-founder & CEO of Otter.ai, “we want to ensure Otter is easy to use for any type of professional taking meetings both in-office and at home.”
