Reportedly Pixel 5 is Getting Big GPU Performance
Recently, Google has started rolling out new April Android security updates for Pixel phones. In their new updates, to the most recent devices, they have brought some performance improvement features.
According to Google, the update includes “performance optimizations for certain graphics-intensive apps and games” on the Pixel 5 and 4A.
Some of their testers are observing substantially improved GPU performance on the Pixel 5 noted XDA Developers.
Previously, Anandtech has found that the Pixel phones turn into much worse GPU results than other phones. They have also pointed out other devices that are using the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip.
